Welcome to Swellbeing! I'm so excited to finally have this blog up & running and have so many exciting posts planned for you!
Some of you may be joining me from my original blog, Swell Little Life, which I started a few years ago to document my journey through pregnancy and life as a new mom. Throughout the last year, many of my posts started to reflect my passion for healthy living as I decided it was time to pursue my passions in real life through completing my certifications as a personal trainer & studying to become a registered holistic nutritionist. I will be bringing you weekly posts on Healthy vegan recipes, Weekend reading links, Superfood vlogs, Workouts & anything else that I have found helpful in living my most healthy & balanced life! Hope you can find a moment to browse around & let me know if there is anything you would like to see me write about in upcoming posts!
I thought I'd start off this week by posting about one of my regular habits: Healthy meal planning! A very important piece of the healthy living puzzle and definitely not something to do on an empty stomach!
I take a bit of time each Monday morning to plan my meals using an online site called Plan to Eat.
You can read more about it by visiting the "Products I Love" tab above. Here's what's on our menu this week with links to the recipes for you to try if you wish: I'm really excited & curious to try out the Vegan Bacon strips from No Meat Athlete....
Th: Vegan Bacon & Tomato Sandwiches w/ leftover soup
S: Eggplant Parm w/Angel Hair
Su: Eggless Quiche on potato crust
And if you're looking for more meal planning ideas, Org Junkie does a weekly link up with bloggers that meal plan.
I'll have my recipes tab updated this week but in the meantime, check out my blogroll for links to all the healthy food bloggers I bow down to each week.
I'll be back later this week with a post on my experience at the largest fitness conference in North America.
Hope you can squeeze some sunny fresh air in today - I can't believe Sept is already creeping in!
To your swellbeing,
