Challenge #22: Make Your Own Green Cleaners

Grab your goggles & your gloves, but you won't be needing a face mask for this weekend activity. Today I'm challenging you to get rid of those cleaning chemicals you've been collecting in your cupboards for too long.

GREEN CLEANING RECIPES:
All Purpose Cleaner:
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1 tsp peppermint castile soap
- 3/4 cup hydrogen peroxide
- 20 drops tea tree oil
- 20 drops lavendar or lemongrass
Method: Fill 32 oz bottle with water first, then add all the rest.
Floor Cleaner:
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 20 drop essential oil of choice.
Method: Mix all ingred in squirt bottle & drizzle the floor before mopping.
Glass Cleaner:
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 1/2 cup Dr. Bronners (I use peppermint)
- 2 cups water
Method: Mix soap & water in spray bottle. Add vinegar & essential oil if you wish.
Laundry Detergent:
- 2 capfulls of Dr. Bronners & that's it. Lavender is a nice option for laundry.
Fabric Softener:
- 1/4 cup white vinegar added to the last rinse cycle of was load. {won't stink}
Pot & Pan Scrubber:
- mix baking soda & hydrogen peroxide together & use a lemon wedge as a scrubbie.

--> All natural products I use & love: Universal Stone, Norwex & Dr. Bronners.
