Wanted to share a few delicious detox-friendly recipes that came out of my kitch this week...
The shining food star of my week has been making up Nut Pates (move over liver - you're gross)
Here's my baseline recipe - feel free to customize with any kind of nut/seed but just keep the proportions the same:
~ Pumpkin & Hemp Seed Pate: so nutritious & so easy to grab when you're in a hurry.
|Manna Bread, Avocado, Pumpkin Hemp Pate, Sprouts, Onion, Tomato, Mustard. YUM!|
~ Lentil Meatballs with Quinoa Pasta
~ Sweet Potato & Black Bean Enchiladas (used gluten free wraps & made a nooch cheeze sauce)
~ Wilted Kale Salad w/ Creamy Avo Dressing
~ Quinoa Apple Slaw:
~Roasted Chickpea Wraps: These are a must make for those times you just want a little handful of something to munch on. The healthy twin of corn-nuts:
I've also been trying to come up with creative ways to use up the fiber-rich juice pulp. So far it has reincarnated into wrap fillers & raw veggie burgs. How do you like to use it?
